Having been born at a Buddist temple in a quiet farming area in Chiba-ken
as a successor of the chief priest, he was looked upon and treated differently
from the other children around there.

千葉県のある静かな農村にあったお寺の跡継ぎとして生まれた彼は、幼いときから周りの農家の親や子供たちからは、彼らとは違うという、特別の目で見られて成長しました。

Because his father was then a sub-chief priest of the tepmple and at the
same time also the vice-presiden of his local primary school, he got a
lot of attention from the school kids.

また父親も、当時その寺の副住職でありながら、地域の小学校の教頭であったことから、彼は学校においても、他の生徒たちからは特別視をされていました。 |
Such an environmet made him believe that he was different from the other
children and naturally had to be considered and treated differently.
